You're not a Wolverine ? Not a problem.

Although the University of Michigan Flyers started out as an official University of Michigan student club, you need not be affiliated with the University to join. You'll even find buckeyes in our membership. Our members include a former University of Michigan Regent. The Michigan football team video staff has scouted opponents stadiums from our aircraft.

The truth of the matter is, the University of Michigan does not have an aviation program that trains pilots. So, at the University of Michigan Flyers, you'll often see a (WMU) Bronco or an (EMU) Eagle or a Fighting Sioux (from University of North Dakota teaching a Wolverine (UM) to fly!
